 Whether you need to haul to a show for a week or to hit your favorite trails for a day, renting from Twine Hill is easy.

• Select your rental period (24-hour increments).
• Finalize your reservation with payment.
• Complete your rental agreement - must include tow vehicle, driver's insurance information, & age verification (drivers must be minimum 25 years old). Here is our trailer contract for your review. 
• If you have not rented from us before, send a picture of the driver's license attached to our email, info@twinehill.com.

Our rentals are self-service, so you are free to pick up and drop off any time within your 24-hour rental period. We may not be on site at your pickup time, and we expect the renter to be comfortable hooking up the horse trailer without assistance. 

 Horse Trailer Pick up: 

• Your trailer will be ready at your rental time with clean shavings bedded in the trailer and more available in the tack room for returning in the same condition
• There is an adjustable height hitch in the tack room. It contains a 2 5/16th” ball and can be adjusted to accommodate the appropriate height to level the trailer.
• If you have a large receiver, there are reducer sleeves in the tack room as well.
• Wheel chocks and the tongue pad can be placed inside the tack room during hauling.
• Please cross the safety chains and ensure they are not dragging.
• Connect the breakaway switch (coiled red cord).
• The trailer lights are tested regularly. If you have a lighting issue, please start with checking your vehicle fuses. 
• Our trailers use a 7-way round RV-type connector. Ensure that your vehicle receives this type of plug. We do not have adaptors available.
• Adjust the trailer brakes using your truck's controller upon departure. The trailer wheels should not lock when the brakes are pressed. 

Horse Trailer Return:

• Clean the trailer prior to returning - there is a pitchfork in the tack room.  
•  A fee will be billed if the trailer is not clean of wet shavings and manure.  
• If you use the tack room, please make sure it is clean too. Please do not haul hay in the tack room. 
• Park and unhook in the same location you picked up the trailer, or where you are comfortable parking. 
• Please remember to leave the hitch and accessories with the trailer.
