About Us
Who we are
We are busy, working parents of two amazing and rambunctious boys! We found our forever home in 2014 in the forested foothills of Monroe, which has turned into an inspiration for many exciting ideas and adventures. We opened our Airbnb in 2019, our horse trailer business in 2022, built a covered arena in 2024, and invented the Trough Tamer in 2025. Twine Hill is always bustling with activity, just how we like it!
We are a little critter crazy here! We have horses, goats, chickens, a rabbit, and an elusive barn cat that only the sneakiest will ever know exist. Check out our Critter Corner below.

What's in a name?
We are often asked, why is your farm called Twine Hill? Well, we live on a hill and for some reason there is baling twine EVERYWHERE! We suspect that the folks that lived here before us fed their livestock a bale at a time without removing the twine. Every time we dig, there’s twine, and sometimes it comes up from the ground like little twine plants! It’s annoying, but it turned out to be the perfect name for our little farm.

She is a pygmy goat with no intention of doing what you want. LOL! Thumbelina is pretty leery of people but very interested in what you're bringing to feed her.

Blaze is an Angora rabbit that somehow wandered to our property. We found him, got him healthy, and gave him a home. Here he is after a full body shave to remove his mats.

Sweet Pea is our resident mouser. By day, she is an occasional blur and by night, she rules Twine Hill. She came to us feral and gaining her trust has been so rewarding!
